Laura Borealis, Artist

These are some of my light-switch covers, in the posts below. I create the miniature scenes out of polymer clay. (Some may know this by a brand-name, such as Fimo modeling clay.) Please enjoy.
And if you live in the Northern Hemisphere, take heart:
More Light, Coming Soon!

Winter Moon

The moon caught in the tree branches and the snow highlights glow in the dark!

A Many-Splendored Thing

I think of this one as Gustav Klimt-like.

Twinkle, Twinkle

...the little stars and the highlights in the snow also glow in the dark.

Poppies, My Pretty

We're not in Kansas anymore. Or in my case, Missouri, where I grew up.

Funny Face, I Love You

This is one of the first things I made with polymer clay- the faces are made by Layl McDill. A friend has this one on the light switch in her bathroom. She says it cheers her up in the morning.
